This Week:
SBAC Testing: We continue our SBAC testing with 5th grade continuing tomorrow and 3rd and 4th grade on Tuesday. Testing should finish this week as teachers will communicate specific days. I thank everyone who has taken the extra effort to ensure your child is in school each day and on time for testing and always. This has truly helped them start off confident to do their best on the test.
Online/Digital Grooming Training: On Monday, our Kinder - 5th grade students will participate in a brief training about online and digital safety to remind them of the importance of digital safety and to always maintain their privacy while working online. Please be sure to discuss with your child the various things they may have learned.
VEX Competition and MMTM Competition: This Thursday I want to wish our 5th grade VEX students the best of luck as they will be competing against 3 other schools with their robots and creations at Nestle Elementary. Also, Ms. Hoehn's class will be competing with their film creations in the Making Movies that Matter Red Carpet event at CSUN. I hope they all take the award and know that their hard work does not go unseen.
After School Tutoring: This Thursday will be the last day tutoring for this school year. I thank all the teachers who worked hard with our students to support their learning and parents who ensured their students participated.
TreePeople Field Trip: On Friday rooms 11, 12, and 32 will be going on their field trip to TreePeople. Please be sure your child's completed and signed field trip slip has been submitted to your child's teacher and may they have a wonderful time.

-6/3/24 Volunteer Tea 9:30 - 10:30 am
-6/4/24 POWW Talent Show for 4th and 5th Grade
-6/6, 6/7, and 6/10/24 12:35 am Minimum Day dismissal
-6/10/24 5th Grade Culmination 8:30 am Magnet and 10:30 am Charter
-6/11/24 Last Day of School for the 2023 -24 school year with 1:30 pm dismissal
