Speed Bumps on Lederer: This week we are scheduled to receive speeds bumps on Lederer between Welby Way and Kittridge thanks to Council Member John Lee. He is helping to support traffic safety at Welby Way and ensure our students arrive and leave safely. Due to tree trimming this week on Lederer this project is being postponed for now. I truly thank you Council Member John Lee for his support.
Traffic Safety: I want to thank the many families who are remembering to slow down when dropping off and picking up your child. I am attaching a diagram as how to properly drop off and pick up your child to ensure all students and families remain safe. Also, thank you for not dropping your child off in front of the cones. This is not an unloading zone. If you plan to walk your child to gate, please park across the street and not close to the cones so the flow of traffic can continue safely. All families must use the cross walk to ensure their safety and do not block our neighbors’ driveways or park in front of the cones or in the red. This is not permitted as we want to respect our neighbors and traffic rules. Lastly, please do not park in the church parking lot. This is not permitted for Welby Way parking. I know we can all work together, we can ensure our students arrive and go home safely. I truly thank you for your attention to this.
