Weekly News #11 - October 21-25, 2024

Policy Reminders:  Parents, please remember that cell phones and apple watches are not permitted to be used on campus.  If a student is found using their watch or phone during the school day, at recess, lunch, or during the after-school program without permission, it will be taken from them.  Also, I know it is the Halloween season, and candy is all over and being requested by POWW for the Trunk or Treat but candy is not permitted during the school.  Several students are coming to school with candy in their lunch and are sharing food with friends.  Please remind your student, phones and candy are not permitted and for the safety of all our students with food allergies, students are not permitted to share food.  Thank you for your attention, consideration, and support with this.

LOST and FOUND - With the changing weather our lost and found is piling up once again.   Please stop by the front of the school to retrieve any of your child's lost clothing and lunch items.    Also, please be sure to label all of your student's items (backpack, lunch box, water bottle, and jackets) so they can be returned to the student.  Thank you.

Welby Way Garden Club:  As many of you many have heard, our Welby Way Garden has been brought back to life thanks to a local Eagle Scout project.   With this our amazing Ms. Awad has created a lunchtime "Garden Club" for our 4th and 5th Grade students where more than 70 students have applied to participate.   This club is asking for your support with a wish list for materials and supplies to keep our garden and students flourishing.  If you would like to support this project, please click on the link below for the requested items and all items can be dropped off the main office.  THANK YOU so much for your support.
