Weekly News #30 (March 24-28, 2025)

I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend as we gear up for a week of fun with Fitness Week and everyone enjoyed a ride around the school on your bike, scooter, or just walked.   Such a fun event for all and a great way to kick off a week of fitness and fun!  I also want to congratulate our 4th and 5th grade Math Field Day teams.   Our 4th grade team came in 1st place and 5th grade came in 3rd place.  I am so very proud of them and all their hard work under Mrs. Hassig's guidance.

Attendance:  Being in the classroom and at school is where it is at!!!  Congratulations to Mrs. Sicam, Mrs. Blaine, Ms. Rozansky, Ms. Awad, and Ms. Medlin's classes for having the highest attendance rate for the month of February and earned a pizza party.  I can't wait to see who it will be in March.   This means beiing in line and in class when the bells rings.

Annual School Experience Survey:   Please take a few minutes to complete the Annual School Experience Survey using the following link:  https://www.lausd.org/SES.  This information is used for compliance, planning for the following school year, and allows us to know what we are doing well and any areas of need.     Currently we have 361 families participating out of 609. I know we can make 100% participation.  Only one survey per family is requested and all students whose family submits the confirmation form to your classroom teacher via email or paper will receive a special "Bedazzle" for an ice cream party.  Thank you for your time and input.
