LSLC/Charter Governance Council Meeting
All are welcome to join our December LSLC/Charter Governance Meeting on Monday, December 9th at 3:00 p.m. via Zoom. We will review our 2026–27 Budget Needs Assessment results in preparation for this year’s budget development and discuss the upcoming Charter Lottery for the next school year. All are welcome to attend.

Parent Sound Bath

December Awards Assembly
On Thursday, I look forward to honoring our students being recognized during the December Awards Assembly. If your child is receiving an award, their teacher has reached out to you with the specific time.
December Fire Drill
Also on Thursday, we will hold our monthly Drop and Fire Drill in the afternoon to practice our emergency procedures and ensure everyone is prepared in case of an emergency.
Annual Toy Drive
Bring a new, unwrapped toy to help bring joy to a child this season during our Annual Toy Drive, hosted by Pack 175 and CHP, running December 1–19.
🎁 Toys can be dropped off in the main office anytime between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Attendance Matters
Welby Way has another opportunity to win Squishmallows for great attendance! Please make sure your child is in school every day from December 1–19 so Welby Way can once again be recognized for having the best attendance.
🎉 Ten students with perfect attendance will be selected to receive a Squishmallow for being at school every day!
🎬 Free Family Movie Night – Rescheduled for Friday, December 12th
Join us for a special K-Pop Demon Hunters Family Movie Night as a thank-you for an amazing start to the year and your incredible volunteering and fundraising support!
🍿 The movie begins at 6:30 p.m. — be sure to bring chairs, warm blankets, gloves, and jackets to stay cozy. Gates will open prior. at 6:00 pm

School resumes Monday, January 12th for the start of our second semester.
Friday, December 19th will be minimum day dismissal at 12:50 pm. Don't forget to mark your calendar.
