🎶 Wednesday – Winter Sing
On Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. and 1:15 p.m., our 1st grade, 3rd grade (Mrs. Ortiz’s class), and 5th grade students will perform in our annual Winter Sing in the auditorium.
Doors will open 10 minutes prior to each performance. To accommodate all families, I will send out the performance order on Monday so everyone can plan accordingly.
Thank you in advance for your understanding, patience, and support of our teachers and students who have worked so hard to prepare for this special day!
🧥 Lost and Found
Our lost and found is overflowing again! Please stop by the front of the school this week where lost and found will be to check for any missing jackets, lunch boxes, or water bottles.
All remaining items after Friday will be donated.
🌾 Field Trip
On Thursday, Mrs. Blaine’s and Mrs. Curley’s classes will be heading to Petty Ranch for their field trip. We wish them a fun and educational experience!
🎉 Friday – Spirit Day & Early Dismissal
Friday will be our final day of school before Winter Break, with 12:50 p.m. dismissal.
Students are encouraged to show their Welby Way spirit by wearing a silly sweater! The classrooms showing the most spirit will be recognized.
❄️ Winter Break
There will be no school from December 22 – January 9.
School will resume on Monday, January 12, for the start of our second semester.
There will also be no school on Monday, January 19, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
🎁 Toy Drive
We will continue our Toy Drive this week! Please drop off new and unwrapped toys at the main office between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. All donations will be collected by the CHP to assist children and families in need.
Thank you for your generosity and support!
