Good evening Welby Way families,
I hope you have all enjoyed a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable spring break and holiday. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to school tomorrow morning with our weekly Monday Morning Assembly. This week, Student Council will present the next character trait—courage—as we move into the final portion of the school year.
This is an important final stretch, especially as our 3rd–5th grade students prepare for state testing beginning the second week of May. During this time, teachers are focusing on mastering grade-level standards and reviewing previously taught content. Please remember, “in the classroom is where it’s at,” and daily attendance matters greatly!

📚 School Tour
Our final school tour of the year will take place this Thursday at 8:30 a.m. Tours are for parents only; no children are permitted. Please help spread the word to prospective families. All participants should check in at the main office.
🎓 Magnet/Charter Acceptance
If your child has been offered placement in a charter or magnet program for the upcoming school year, Friday, April 10th is the final day to accept or decline the offer. If no response is submitted, the offer will be automatically declined.
🔬 Region North STEAM Fest 2026

✍️ Imagination Writing Machine
Also on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., Mrs. Kearns will be working with selected 3rd–5th grade students as part of the Imagination Writing Machine program at Welby Way. She will send an email with specific details.
