Be ready to get your individual and class picture taken on Tues 10/7 or Wed 10/8. On Tuesday, October 7th, our TK, K, Grades 1st, 2nd, and Mrs. Ortiz Class will take pictures. Then, on Wednesday, October 8th, Grades 3rd, 4th, and 5th will take pictures. Come to school looking your best and smile! Students will take individual pictures, as well as a class picture.

I hope you are all having a lovely weekend as we head into another four-day week, with no school on Thursday, Oct. 2nd in honor of Yom Kippur. We will also have our weekly Monday Morning Assembly, where Student Council will present the October character trait of Respect and share information about Yom Kippur.

Come see our Welby Way teachers and staff as we smash guacamole, enjoy Fin-fantastic food and help raise money for our school! You can order online at sharkeez.com and in store. 20% of net sales and $1 from every chip and guacamole starter will benefit Welby Way Elementary school.

I hope you are all having a lovely weekend and I want to thank the many families who joined us this week for our annual Patriot's Day assembly.  It was truly a special morning together as a school family.   If you are available, don't forget to join us tomorrow morning following the bell for our weekly Monday morning assembly.
